Ivermectin 5 mg
Closantel Na 125 mg
Ivosan is indicated for the treatment of mixed trematodes (fluke) and nematode or arthropod infestations due to gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eye worms, warbles, mites and lice of cattle and sheep .
Gastrointestinal roundworms: Ostertagia ostertagi (including inhibited larval stages)
Ostertagialyrata (adult) , Haemonchus placei (adult and immature), Trichostrongylus axei (adult and immature), Trichostrongylus colubriformis (adult and immature), Cooperia oncophora (adult and immature, Cooperia punctata (adult and immature), Cooperia pectinata(adult and immature), Oesophagostomum radiatum (adult and immature), Nematodirus helvetianus (adult), Nematodirus spathiger ( adult ), Strongyloides papillosus( adult), Bunostomum phelbotomum (adult and immature),Toxocara vitulorum (adult), Trichuris spp.
Dictyocaulus viviparous (adults L4, including inhibited larvae).
Fasciola hepatica (adults and immature), F. gigantica (adults).
Cattle Grubs:( parasitic stages)
Hypoderma bovis, H. lineatum.
Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes scabiei var bovis.
Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenopotes capillatus.
Administered by subcutaneous injection only, in the neck.
Cattle and Sheep:
1 ml per 25 kg body weight
Injection should be administered at a dosage rate of 200 mcg ivermectin per kg bodyweight and 5 mg closantel per kg bodyweight.
A maximum dose of 10 ml should be administered at any one site with any residual volume administered at another site in the neck.
-Ivosan is not for intravenous or intramuscular use .
-Don’t use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the product .
-Don't smoke, eat or drink while handling the product.
-Do not use in non-lactating dairy cows including pregnant heifers within 60 days of calving .
-Cattle should not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment and within 49 days from the last treatment
-Sheep should not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment and within 28 days from the last treatment
-Do not use in cattle and sheep producing milk for human consumption
Store in dark dry places below 30 ˚C.
