Description
Each 1 ml contains :
Tilmicosin (as phosphate) 300 mg
Meloxicam 20 mg
- Infections caused by agents sensitive to Tilmicosin specifically Pneumonia , Keratoconjuntivitis and Foot Rot in Cattle.
- Among other germs sensitive to Tilmicosin, we can mention the following ones as important for veterinary medicine : Actinobacillus spp, Pasteurella spp, Bacteroides nodosus , Bacteroides melaninogenicus , Haemophilus spp , Moraxella bovis , Fusobacterium necrophorum , Mycoplasma.
- Meloxicam reduces inflammation symptoms and relieves pain .
Cattle.
Administered by subcutaneous injection only.
Pneumonia : 1 ml Tilimax / 30 kg bodyweight.
Keratoconjuntivitis and Foot Rot : 1 ml Tilimax / 30-60 kg bodyweight.
Administer one dose by subcutaneous .
- Do not administer by intravenous route since it may be fatal in Cattle .
- Do not administer to other animal species. Only administer to Cattle .
- Tilmicosin has been shown to be fatal in Swine , Non-human Primates and potentially fatal in Horses .Do not administer to Swine , Horses , Dairy Cattle in milk or pregnant cows.
- Do not administer simultaneously with other Steroid/Anti-inflammatories or Anti-coagulants .
- Do not administer to animals with alteration of Hepatic ,Cardiac or Renal function .
- Do not administer to animals with haemorrhagic disorder or if there is evidence of gastrointestinal ulcerogenic injuries or individual hypersensitivity to the product .
- Avoid the use in animals with sign of severe dehydration , hypovolaemia , hypotention , since a potential risk of an increase in renal toxicity may be produced .
- In case of secondary effects interrupt treatment .
- Do not slaughter treated animals for human consumption within 28 days from last treatment.
- Do not administer to Female Dairy Cattle 20 months of age or older .
- Do not administer to Calves younger than 1 month of age or fed only with milk
