Each 1 ml contains:
Levamisole Hydrochloride 118 mg
Levavet is abroad spectrum anthelimntic for the treatment and control of gastrointestinaland pulmonarynematods infections in cattle, sheep,goat,and poultry .
Levavet is highly effective against mature and developing immature stage of the following levamisole –susceptiple major nematods worm species .
large animals :gastointestinal worms : Trichostrongylus spp, Cooperia spp,Ostertagia spp(exceptincattle) haemonchus spp , nematodirus spp,bunostomum spp,oesophagostomum spp , chabertia spp .
Lung worms : dictyocaulus spp .
Poultry :ascaridia spp ,capillariaspp ,and heterakis spp .
Poultry :
Treatment : 0.2 ml / 1 kg bodyweight in drinking water twice daily ,repeat the same dose after 3 weeks .
Large Animals :
Cattle , Sheep and Goat :
Treatment : 1 ml / 15 kg bodyweight in drinking water (singledose )
Animals must not be treated within a period of 14 days before or after treatment with organophosphorus compounds or diethylcarbamazine citrate.
Large animals:
Meat: 21 days
Milk: milk from treated animal must not be used for human consumption .
Poultry:
Meat:18 days
Egg: 9 days
