Oxymisole Plus is indicated for the treatment and control of Gastrointestinal and Pulmonary nematode infections and Chronic Fascioliasis in Cattle and Sheep.
It removes mature and developing immature stages of a range of nematode species.
It’s effective against the following:
In the abomasum: Haemonchus, Ostertagia (immature and adult)
In sheep it is usually effective against inhibited / arrested larvae of Haemonchus, Ostertagia and Trichostrongylus axei.
In the intestines: Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Nematodirus, Oseophagostomum, Chabertia and Bunostomum spp.)
In the lungs: Dictyocaulus spp.
It removes practically all flukes (Fasciola spp.) present in the bile ducts of the liver.
Administered orally via a drenching gun.
Dose according to bodyweight at the rate of 7.5 mg Levamisole HCl and 15 mg Oxyclozanide per kg bodyweight as follows:
Sheep: 2.5 ml / 10 kg bodyweight.
Cattle: 25 ml / 100 kg bodyweight.
– Animals should not be treated within a period of 14 days before or after treatment with organophosphorus compounds.
-Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients.
-Cattle and Sheep (Meat): 28 days
-Do not use in animals producing milk for human consumption..
Store at a temperature below 30oC.
