Each 1 g of powder contains:
Diminazene diaceturate 445 mg
Antipyrine (Phenazone) 551.82 mg
Vitamin B12 0.64 mg
Vitamin B6 2.54 mg
– For the treatment and prevention of trypanosomiasis.
– For the treatment of babesiosis.
– For the treatment of theileriosis caused by Theileria annulata.
Cattle and Dogs.
- Dissolve 2.36 g of powder in 12.5 ml of water for injection to obtain a ready-to-use 7% solution (70 mg/ml).
- Administered by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
- Treatment of trypanosomiasis: Cattle: 3.5 mg of diminazene diaceturate/kg bodyweight (1 ml Protokill/20 kg bodyweight).
- Treatment of babesiosis: Cattle and Dogs: 3.5 mg of diminazene diaceturate/kg bodyweight (1 ml Protokill/20 kg bodyweight).
- Treatment of theileriosis: Cattle: 5 mg of diminazene diaceturate/kg bodyweight (1 ml Protokill/14 kg bodyweight).
Do not use in animals with severe hepatic and renal impairment.
Multiple therapeutic doses produce nervous signs especially in Dogs.
Meat: 21 days
Milk: 3 days.
