Sulphazine is indicated for treatment of coccidiosis in poultry due to infection with Eimeria species, Fowl Typhoid due to infection with Salmonella gallinarum and Fowl Cholera due to infection with Pasteurella mutocida .
Administered orally via drinking water.
Dissolve 1g Sulphazine per 1 liter of drinking water. This provides approximately 50 mg active ingredient, or 170 mg Sulphazine per kg bodyweight. Treat for 3 consecutive days and repeat after 2 days break if necessary.
For Coccidiosis in Poultry caused by E. tenella and E. necatrix doses of 1.5 g to 2.0 g Sulphazine / 1 Liter of drinking water are indicated.
For the treatment of Cholera and Typhoid, doses of 1.0 to 2.0 g Sulphazine / 1 Liter of drinking water for at least 5 days are required.
Poultry: 14 days
Turkeys: 21 days
Eggs: 11 days
Store in a dark and dry place at a temperature below 30oC.
