Description
Diacidol is a non-systemic public health pesticide, from the organophosphorus compounds, used as ectoparasiticide, contains 20% (w/v) Diazinon (O,O-diethyl 0-2- isopropyl- 6-methylpyramidin- 4-yl Phosphorothioate (IUPAC)) as emulsifiable concentrate.
–Â A useful dressing for the control of Blowfly (Lucilia cuprina) strike on struck sheep, and as a dressing for marking wounds.
– For the control of Lice (Bovicola bovis, Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus) and Buffalo Fly (Haematobia irritans exigua) on cattle, Lice (Bovicola caprae) on goats

-Do not use Diacidol 20 EC for dipping or jetting sheep.
-Do not use on lactating or pregnant ewes where milk or milk products may be used for human consumption.

 Meat: Cattle must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment and within 3 days from the last treatment.
 Milk: Nil.

–Â Â Sheep and Goats:
Meat:Â Sheep and goat must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment and within 14 days from the last treatment.
Milk (Sheep):Â Do not use in lactating or pregnant ewes where their milk or milk products may be used for human consumption.

Milk (Goats):Â Milk from treated goats must not be used for human consumption during treatment and within 48 hours from the last treatment.
Wool (Sheep):Â Do not use less than 2 months before shearing or fiber collection.
Store away from any direct source of heat or flame and at temperature below 30oC.
