Description
Non-selective herbicide that is before , during and after the crop rotation period. It contains 20% (w/v) Paraquat Dichloride soluble in water. in the form of soluble concentrate .
Non-Selective contact herbicide absorbed by the foliage, with some translocation in the xylem . During photosynthesis superoxide is generated which damages cell membranes and cytoplasm .
Paraqate Non-selective herbicide used to control a broad spectrum of broad-leaved weeds and grasses also used for general weed control on non-crop land and in pasture renovation and for control of aquatic weeds.
Paraqate does not affect follow crops since it is deactivated when absorbed into soil.
Paraqate is absored by plant tissues causing damages in cell membranes and cytoplasm.
Paraqate is rapidly absorbed by the plant its activity is not affected by rain fall or spray irrigation systems even after couple of hours of pesticide application .
