Oxytetravet 100%

Each 1 g contains :

Oxytetracycline ( as  Hydrochloride )         1000 mg  

Oxytetravet  100% is indicated For the control and treatment of the following diseases caused by organisms susceptible to Oxytetracycline:

Poultry :

Mycoplasma spp, (infectious sinusitis ,CRD ) ; Haemophilus Gallinarum , (Coryza ) ; Pasteurella Multocida , Fowl Cholera and non specific bacterial enteritis .

Ruminants :

Control and treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by Escherichia coli and bacterial pneumonia (shipping fever complex) caused by Pasteurella Multocida susceptible to Oxytetracycline.

Poultry :60 mg of Oxytetracycline per kg of body weight daily .

  Medicated drinking water using  234 g  Oxytetravet  100% per 900 -1000  liters  of  water  , medicate for a minimum of  3 days and continue treatment for 24 hours after symptoms disappear. medicated water should be consumed within 12 hours and fresh solution prepared daily.  remove other source of unmedicated water . 

  Cattle and Sheep: Administer in the drinking water at a level of 22.2 mg Oxytetracycline

  HCl per kg of bodyweight daily. Administer up to 14 days.

Poultry :

Meat : remove all medicated water 7 days before slaughter for human consumption or processing .

Egg : do not use in laying birds where egg or eggs product are to be used for human consumption .

Ruminants  : 5 days before slaughter .

Store in a dry and dark place , at temperature below  30˚C.
