Toltavet 2.5%

Each 1 ml contain :

Toltrazuril  2.5 mg

Toltavet 2.5% is indicated for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in broiler Chicken and Turkey caused by Eimeria species including:  Eimeria tenella, Eimeria necatrix, Eimeria acervulina and Eimeria maxima.

Toltavet 2.5% is diluted at the rate of 3 liters / 1000 liters of drinking water (7 mg active ingredient / kg bodyweight).

It is administered on 2 consecutive days with an 8 hour treatment period on both days.

Do not withhold feed during treatment .No other source of drinking water should be supplied to birds during the 8 hours period. Ensure full lighting conditions during treatment.

Broiler Treatment Programme: Begin treatment with Toltavet 2.5 % as soon as coccidiosis is confirmed. A treatment period of 2 days is sufficient. If required, treatment may be repeated after 5 days.

Broiler Preventive Programme: Give Toltavet 2.5% on days 9 to 10, 16 to 17 and 23 to 24 of life. Do not use a coccidiostat in the feed. An additional treatment may be necessary after 35 days of age but not within 14 days of slaughter .

Layer birds (replacement pullets and replacement layer breeder birds) : Toltavet  2.5%  may be used in replacement pullets and replacement layer breeder birds via drinking water for an 8 hours period each day for two consecutive days . Treatment may be repeated after 5 days if  required.

Do not treat replacement pullets more than twice.

Do not use in laying birds.

Meat: Do not use less than 14 days before slaughter for human consumption.

Eggs Do not use in laying hens. Do not use in replacement pullets within 8 weeks of laying onset, where eggs are to be used or processed for human consumption.

Eggs laid during the withholding period must be used or processed for human consumption.

Store in a dry and dark place at temperature below 30 ˚C.
